This is Rahmeen – Social Activist, Motivational Speaker & Trainer



Rahmeen Urooj, social activist and CEO of Leading Future is a young entrepreneur encompassing a wide range of activities including woman empowerment, students’ grooming, persons with disabilities, scouting activities, helping deprived social communities and promoting education in rural areas of Pakistan.
She is an Executive Committee member of PUAN, Amnesty International and alumnus of many US-based projects including Access, PALI, PUAN, and IEARN. Rahmeen has acquired international awareness for various fields by attending courses from the University of Pennsylvania and Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, US Department of States, Washington DC. She has performed in US Consulate as a translator for their diplomacy programs and participated several times as a panelist in US programs.
She has completed UN Immersion Program by United Nations Institute for Training And Research (UNITAR) at United Nations Headquarters, Geneva, Switzerland where she attended seminars and expert lectures by the top officials of WTO, WHO, UNHCR, UNICEF, ICRC, WIPO, etc. She participated in the South Asian Access Summit in Kathmandu, Nepal, in November 2019 organized by the US Embassy.
Her organization, founded in 2016, has performed numerous volunteer activities independently and collaborating with other organizations in Karachi and interior Sindh. She emphasizes SDGs to bring a positive change in the world. Rahmeen has performed numerous volunteer activities independently and collaborating with other organizations such as Sindh Boy Scouts Association, Hidden Hand Lions Club, Cure Pakistan, Buturab Scouts, Ujala Center, REDs, World SofTech, etc. within Karachi and interior Sindh. She has participated in a number of programs for orphanage houses, old-age houses, disabled persons and transgenders to facilitate and raise the awareness of their rights.
She attended English Access Microscholarship Program in 2014-2016 and participated in Pakistan Access Leadership Institute (PALI). She is an alumnus of many US-based projects. Rahmeen has acquired international awareness for various fields by attending online courses from United States universities like the University of Pennsylvania and the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, US Department of States, Washington DC.
Rahmeen is a motivational public speaker, active trainer and creative writer. She has been the host of many programs on various occasions like “Grand Event” of Access, International Women’s Day Celebration, Women Empowerment Day, etc. She was honored to address in Access Graduation Ceremony in the presence of almost 1600 participants including US Ambassador Mr. David Hale. She is socially well known for her Youth Grooming projects specially designed for unprivileged communities. She is organizing student grooming projects in a number of government and private schools for the last two years. Rahmeen has participated in many online sessions as the chief speaker for remote areas of Sindh to motivate the rural population towards further education and social-volunteer activities.
She has worked generously for orphanage houses and persons with disabilities. She has done a lot of work for Women Empowerment and awarded a shield in recognition of her work. She has collaborated with many organizations such as Sindh Boy Scouts Association, Hidden Hand Lions Club, Horizon Welfare, Cure Pakistan, Buturab Scouts, Ujala Center, REDs, etc. Recently, her organization arranged 600 items figured over PKR 500,000 including dresses, sweaters, shoes, toys and other stuff to be distributed in deprived families.
She is having a long list of awards, appreciations and certificates on her record. She is fond of tourism as she has traveled thirteen times across the globe.
